Gaffney, SC - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team is looking to defeat their third ranked team of the season as they travel to Gaffney, SC to face #3 Limestone Saturday evening. 

The two teams have only faced each other 4 times, with the series record being 2-2. The first match up between LMU and Limestone, the Railsplitters fell to the Saints 1-4. In their most recent match up, which was last season in October of 2023, Lincoln Memorial defeated Limestone 2-0.  

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 1-3 loss against Anderson. Guilherme Galvão scored LMU's only goal of the game in the 41st minute, which was assisted by Gian-Carlo Kama. Botond Skulka is currently leading the team in points with 7, while Ronan O'Mahony is behind him with 6. Skulka and O'Mahony are leading in goals with 3 goals each. Daniel Miklosi is currently 3rd in the conference in saves with 49. 

In the most recent United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll, which was released on October 29, Lincoln Memorial was receiving votes. In the previous poll. which was released on October 22nd, LMU was ranked 21st. 

#3 Limestone is coming off of 1-1 draw against Lenior-Rhyne. Limestone was most recently ranked #3 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll, which was an improvement from last week's rankings in which they were ranked #4. 

In the SAC standings, Lincoln Memorial is sitting in 5th place with 14 points while Limestone is in first place with 27 points.
