Gaffney. SC - The Lincoln Memorial Women's soccer team will play their last road game of the regular season as they travel to Gaffney, SC to face the Limestone Saints Saturday afternoon. 

September of 2001 was the first time that the two teams faced each other, which resulted in a 5-1 win. That match has been the only time that the Lady Railsplitters have defeated the Saints. The most recent match up between Lincoln Memorial and Limestone was last season, in October of 2023, where the game resulted in a 0-0 draw. 

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 0-0 draw against Anderson. Ryan Branson is currently in the lead on the team in points with 11, and Jade Brown is behind her with 6. Bente Latenstein was named the SAC Defensive Player of the Week this week because of her 2 saves towards the end of the match to keep her clean sheet against Anderson. She is also currently 4th in the conference in saves. 

Lincoln Memorial was most recently voted #10 in the Southeast Region in the United Soccer Coaches Poll. This is the first time that they have been ranked in the southeast region this season. 

Limestone is coming off of a 1-1 draw against Lenior-Rhyne. 

In the SAC standings, Lincoln Memorial is sitting in 4th place with 15 points, and Limestone is in 6th with 11 points.
