Box Score Gaffney, SC - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team defeat #3 Limestone Saturday evening for their 8th win of the season.

The Railsplitters scored early in the match, with Dati Chinchaladze scoring the lone goal of the game in the 19th minute unassisted. 

Despite the 12 shots and 8 corner kicks that Limestone had, Daniel Benedek Miklosi and his back line were able keep the Saints from scoring to secure the shutout.

Miklosi also posted 5 saves in the game to earn his 5th clean sheet of the season. 

This was a huge win for the Railsplitters, as this is the first time that the Saints have been defeated all season. 

With the win, LMU improves to 8-3-3 overall and 5-3-2 in the SAC. Their next match will be at home on November 6th at 7:30 pm. This will be the last regular season game before heading into tournament play.
