Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's soccer team will play their last regular season game on Wednesday against Emory & Henry.
Lincoln Memorial has only played the Wasps only two times before this, with the first match up being only two years ago in October of 2022 and their most recent matchup last season in November of 2023. Lincoln Memorial is currently winning the series 2-0.
The Lady Railsplitters are coming off of a 2-1 win against Limestone.
Meg Anderson scored her second goal of the season in the 59th minute, and
Riley Miller scored her first collegiate goal in the 79th minute.
Viktoria Filsner earned assists for both Anderson's and Miller's goals. Filsner is now tied for 2nd in the conference in assists with 5.
Ryan Branson is still in the lead in points with 11, with
Jade Brown behind her with 6.
Lincoln Memorial has not lost a game since October 5th when they fell to Wingate 1-3. Winning this game would be an encouraging push for LMU going into post-season play.
Emory & Henry is coming off of a 0-5 loss against Wingate.
In the SAC standings, Lincoln Memorial is sitting in 4th place with 18 points while E&H is in 8th place with 10 points.
Winning this match would lock in 4th place for LMU, giving Lincoln Memorial the opportunity to host a SAC Quarterfinal match on Saturday.
Kickoff is set for 5 pm at LMU Lacrosse Complex.
