Harrogate, TN - Spring is right around the corner and with that comes opening day for the 2025 baseball season. Lincoln Memorial baseball released its season schedule on Tuesday.
The Railsplitters start the 2025 season on the road in Dahlonega, GA at UNG for a four-game series beginning from Jan. 31 - Feb.2, followed by a road trip to Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Lincoln Memorial will open the home slate against Quincy University for a weekend series from Feb. 7 - Feb. 9, followed by a mid-week match up at home against Bluefield State on Feb. 11. The Railsplitters will open South Atlantic Conference play at home this season against Limestone on Feb. 14 before taking to the road once again for a weekend series against UVA-Wise. A mid-week match up at home against Trevecca Nazarene on Feb. 25 will be followed by a road conference series against Carson-Newman on Feb.28 - Mar.1. Lee University will travel to Harrogate for the back end of the home-and-home on Mar. 4 before a conference series against Emory & Henry at home Mar.7-8.
Lincoln Memorial will host back-to-back non conference opponents in Kentucky State University and Roosevelt University. The Thoroughbreds will visit Harrogate for a mid-week match up on Mar. 11, followed by a four-game series with Roosevelt Mar.14-16. The Railsplitters will travel to Bluefield, WV for the back end of the home-and-home with Bluefield State on Mar. 19 before visiting Wingate for a conference series Mar. 21-22. Lincoln Memorial will play its last non-conference game of the season in the back end of a home-and-home traveling to Nashville, TN for its second match up of the season with Trevecca Nazarene on Apr. 1.
The Railsplitters will then play host to Anderson for a weekend conference series Apr. 4-5 before taking to the road to take on Tusculum in conference action on Apr. 11-12. Lincoln Memorial will play its last true road series of the season at Coker Apr. 18-19 before returning home to close out the regular season against Catawba Apr. 25-26.
The opening round of the SAC Baseball Championship will be held from May 2-4, followed by the championship series May 9-12. NCAA Regionals begin on May 15, followed by Super Regionals on May 22. The DII Baseball College World Series will be held on May 30 to crown a national champion.
