Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team will play host to the Tusculum Pioneers on Wednesday for their first home game of the week, with tip-off set for 5:30 pm.
This will be the 55th time that the Lady Railsplitters and the Pioneers will be facing each other, with their first ever meeting dating back to February of 1978. The two times that they faced each other last season, Lincoln Memorial came out victorious 87-57 (January of 2024) and 60-51 (February of 2024). The series record between the two teams is 26-28.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 49-61 loss against Newberry that went to double overtime.
Kamil Collier registered her 4th double-double of the season with 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Alexa Smiddy led the team in points, recording 20 points.
Caroline Sikkink also posted a season-high 8 steals on the night.
Currently, Smiddy is leading the team in points, averaging 13.2 points per game, with Collier no too far behind her with 12.6 points per game. Collier is leading in rebounds with an average of 10.2 rebounds per game.
Tusculum is coming off of a 86-54 loss against Coker.
In the SAC standings, Lincoln Memorial is currently sitting in 7th, while Tusculum is in 11th.
