Harrogate, TN - The 14th ranked Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team is slated to be back at home on Saturday after downing Tusculum on Wednesday for its sixth consecutive conference victory of the season, moving into first place in the SAC men's basketball standings. The Railsplitters will play host to the Wingate Bulldogs, seeking their seventh consecutive conference victory of the season, looking to maintain their unblemished conference record.
Lincoln Memorial comes into the game with an 8-1 overall record and a perfect 6-0 record in conference play, resting atop the SAC men's basketball standings. Wingate enters the contest with a 4-4 overall record, posting a 4-3 mark in conference play. The Railsplitters are averaging 83.4 points-per-game, led by
Wes Enis, who averages 17.7 points-per-game. Freshman
Elyjah Freeman has exploded onto the scene this season, showcasing his athleticism in multiple ways. Freeman is the team's second-leading scorer, averaging 15.3 points-per-game, and leads the team in rebounding with an average of 6.9 rebounds-per-game.
