Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team will play host to the Wingate Bulldogs Saturday afternoon for their second home game of the week.
This will be the first out of two times this season that LMU will face Wingate. The first time that these two teams faced each other was in January of 2007, where the Bulldogs came out victorious 49-61. Their most recent match up was last season where the Lady Railsplitters fell short 54-57.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 58-60 loss against Tusculum.
Alexa Smiddy led the team in points with 28, her season high.
Kamil Collier registered a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and
Matty Tanner led the team in rebounds with a season-high 11.
Currently, Smiddy is leading the team in points, averaging 14.7 points per game. Collier and Tanner are behind her, averaging 12.3 and 9.7 points per game, respectively. Coller is averaging 10.2 rebounds per game, the highest on the team. Tanner is behind her averaging 5.0 rebounds per game.
Wingate is coming off of a 69-42 win against Emory & Henry.
In the SAC standings, Lincoln Memorial is sitting in 8th while Wingate is sitting in 3rd.
Tip-off is set for 12 pm in Tex Turner Arena.
