Box Score Harrogate, TN- After the Railsplitters took down the #10 ranked Princeton Tigers on Friday in New Jersey, the Railsplitters fell to Ivy-League Harvard today. The Railsplitters fell to the Crimson in five sets (17-15).
The Lincoln Memorial University team lost in the first set 22-25 but flipped the script in the second set beating the Crimson 25-22. In the third set, the Railsplitters were able to take down their oponent in a battle of 25-19. This battle brought forth the fourth set, where the Railsplitters repeated their loss in the first set 22-25.
Matt Gentry led the team with 20 kills, and Shay Spadaro had 17 kills with 10 digs. Johan Negron tallied 12 kills. Kohl Kutsch had the highest hitting percentage at .667. He also led in assists for both teams with 57. Tate Colebaugh had 8 digs in the five-set match. There were 7 service aces and 44 digs in the match. Shay Spadaro had 3 of these service aces.
The Railsplitters are back in action against King at home on Wednesday, February the 14th.
