Harrogate, TN- The Lincoln Memorial University men's tennis team will host Belmont Abbey College Friday, the 16th. The matches will be held at 10:00am in the indoor tennis complex.
The Railsplitters are 1-1 on the season. The men fell to Young Harris College in the opening weekend in Harrogate but turned things around against the University of the Cumberlands. The men's team has not lost in a doubles match this season. Alexandru Giurea, a sophomore from Petrosani, Romania has had a great start to his season. He won both his individual matches as the 1st competitor and his doubles matches.
The Railsplitters look to use the home field advantage and improve to 2-1 on the season. The matches will begin at 10:00 am starting with 3 doubles and then a series of 6 individual matches.
