Men's basketball seeking fourth win in a row, sweep of Tusculum in regular season

Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team is slated to be back in action on Wednesday at Tusculum, following a decisive statement win over Wingate on Saturday. Earlier this season, The Pioneers traveled to Harrogate, seeing the Railsplitters take a 72-59 decision at home.

Lincoln Memorial is led in scoring by freshman Wes Enis, who through 12 games is averaging 17.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Me'Kell Burries follows closely with an average of 16.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. Chase Rankin averages a very well-balanced stat line, scoring an average of 15.0 points per game to go along with 5.2 rebounds per game and 5.7 assists per game. Senior forward Martez Brown continues to lead not only the conference, but the nation in rebounding, field goal percentage, and double-doubles. Last week, Brown was named to the Bevo Francis Award Top 50 Watch List for the best player in small college basketball. He is averaging 13.4 points and an astonishing 14.6 rebounds per game.
