Harrogate, TN - Following a decisive win over Emory & Henry at home on Wednesday, the Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team is seeking to duplicate its performance against the Mars Hill Lions on Saturday. Earlier this season, the Railsplitters nearly crested the century mark against the Lions, taking a 97-75 decision on the road at Mars Hill. Lincoln Memorial enters the game with a 16-6 record overall and a 10-3 mark in conference play. Mars Hill is 2-18 on the season, with a 1-12 mark in SAC play.

Me'Kell Burries leads the Railsplitters in scoring, averaging 17.3 points per game to go along with 3.2 rebounds per game. Freshman Wes Enis has exploded onto the college basketball scene since joining the team in early January as an early enrollee, and is the team's second leading scorer through 10 games, averaging 16.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Enis erupted for a career-high 31 points earlier in the season. Chase Rankin is one of the most well-rounded players in the country, as well as the SAC, and is currently averaging 14.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. Martez Brown is the nation's leading rebounder by a substantial margin. The nation's second leading rebounder (Dalton Albrecht, Bemidji St.) trails Brown by an astonishing 77 rebounds. Brown is the only player in the SAC averaging a double-double with 13.3 points and 14.6 rebounds per game, edging the conference's second-leading rebounder by nearly seven rebounds per game. His 15 double-doubles on the season lead the nation as well. Brown hauled in his 800th career rebound in his last game, and is on pace to set various records.
