Harrogate, TN - Following an amazing season in which he led the nation in multiple statistical categories, Lincoln Memorial senior forward Martez Brown has been named to the First Team All-Region team by the D2CCA and NABC, making him a consensus First Team All-Region selection. On the season, Brown averaged 13 points per game and 13.8 rebounds per game. He is the only player in the South Atlantic Conference to average a double-double all season long. He led the nation in double-doubles, field goal percentage, and rebounding. Brown was named to the First Team All-SAC team, Bevo Francis Award Watch List Top 50 for the best player in DII college basketball, and also became the conference's all-time leading rebounder for his career.

Brown joins Donell Nixon and John Zhao as the only three players from the South Atlantic Conference to be named consensus all-region selections.

This season, Brown played in 33 games, starting all 33. He averaged 31.4 minutes per game, a 72% field goal percentage, 57% free throw percentage, 13 points per game, 13.8 rebounds per game, 3.3 offensive rebounds per game, 10.5 defensive rebounds per game, 1.9 assists per game, 1.1 blocks per game, and 1.6 steals per game.
