Harrogate, TN- LMU Men's Volleyball will host Mount Olive to face off in Mary Mars Gymnasium on Saturday, March 9th, at 3 PM and on Sunday, March 10th, at 1 PM. The team is 11-4 so far on the season and is still receiving votes in the AVCA Top 20 polls.
The Railsplitters are led by
Matthew Gentry in kills, totaling 118 on the season and averaging over a block per set. Setter
Kohl Kutsch has also been key, averaging over 10 assists per set and nearly two digs per set.
Shay Spadaro has been an offensive weapon as well, totaling 15 aces on the year and averaging 2.33 kills per set (100 total).Â
The matches will mark the seventh and eighth meetings between the programs all time, a series that LMU holds by a record of 4-2. UMO is 12-3 so far this season, their most recent games being wins over Lees-McRae and King. Hayden Frear leads the Trojans currently in kills, with 122 on the season.
