Harrogate, TN- In a commanding display of skill and determination, the Lincoln Memorial University men's tennis team secured a resounding 7-0 victory over the University of Virginia - Wise. The Railsplitters showcased their prowess on the court, delivering a flawless performance that left their opponents struggling to keep up. 

Despite a tough battle in the doubles competition, where LMU dropped the #1 Doubles match, the team rallied back with an outstanding performance in singles play, sweeping all matches to claim victory. 

However, the Railsplitters quickly rebounded in the #2 and #3 Doubles matches, with Nic Goslar and Mathias Roy clinching a thrilling victory in a tiebreak against Gustavo Marangoni and Miguel De Rueda of UVA-Wise, and LMU's Luca Pavan and Mateo Rivera Carbajal securing a solid win. 

As the singles matches got underway, LMU displayed unwavering dominance, sweeping all six matches to seal the victory. Alexandru Giurea of LMU claimed victory in the #1 Singles after UVA-Wise's Yi-Hsuan Chen retired from the match after a 6-2, 2-1 scoreline.

In the #2 Singles, Radu Florea showcased his skill, securing a decisive win over Miguel De Rueda.  

Thom Hermans, William Jonsson, Mateo Rivera Carbajal, and Franco Battaglino of LMU continued the team's winning streak, each delivering stellar performances in their respective matches. 

With this impressive victory, the Lincoln Memorial men's tennis team continues to assert their dominance in the conference, solidifying their position as a formidable force to be reckoned with. As they look ahead to future challenges, the Railsplitters are poised to build upon this success and continue their pursuit of excellence on the courts.
