Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial field hockey team will open its home slate on Wednesday against Mount Olive. The Railsplitters are coming off of a two game road stent in which they fell to Lander, 2-1, and Converse, 0-5. Lincoln Memorial is seeking both its first conference program win and its first home victory on Wednesday. The Trojans are 1-1 on the season through two games, falling to Shippensburg 1-0 in the season opener before defeating IUP (Indiana, PA) 5-3 in their second game.

Lincoln Memorial and Mount Olive have met three times in the history of the two programs with the Trojans taking all three contest. However, the last game played in September of 2023 was the most competitive game in the series' history. Mount Olive took a 5-0 decision, but it was by far and away the best defensive performance the Railsplitters had up to that point in the series, previously allowing 10+ goals in the prior two contests. This will be only the second time that Mount Olive has traveled to Harrogate, with the last match up taking place in Harrogate as well.

First draw is set for 11 AM at the LMU Lacrosse Complex on Wednesday.
