Harrogate, TN- Women's Volleyball would open at home in style, taking the win over Wingate in five sets for their first conference win of the season.

Lincoln Memorial would come out firing. The first two sets would be all Splitter Volleyball. Setter Lauren Pickett would spread the wealth, setting her middles to open up things for her other hitters to excel. Kristen Moehring would showcase her dominance on attack, coming up with several big swings throughout the course of the match. Wingate would find their footing, battling back to take the third set then catching momentum from set point down in the fourth to force a fifth. Both teams would go back and forth, but it would be LMU who would find enough to close out the match. Agata Bogdanska came up with several key blocks to help keep the team alive while freshman libero Lauren Jacobs would deliver with some crucial digs to keep the momentum for the blue and gray. 

LMU moves to 7-3 (1-2) on the season and will return to the court on Tuesday, September 24th, for a road contest at Emory & Henry starting at 7 PM.
