Hartsville, SC - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team falls to Coker Saturday afternoon 5-1.
The Cobras started the scoring early in the 14th minute with Frederic Benedix scoring the first goal, with Youri Keijser earning the assist. In the 24th minute, Matty Tricker scored, Connor Duggan getting the assist. The last goal of the half would come from Coker's Mitchel Starrs with an assist coming from Oskar Kaufmann.
The Railsplitters would start the scoring in the 2nd half with
Botond Skulka scoring off of a penalty kick in the 56th minute. The Cobras would extend the lead with Kaufmann scoring off of a Benedix assist in the 63rd minute. Coker would secure the lead with their final goal in the 86th minute with Kaufmann getting his second goal of the game, assist by Rafa Reno.
With the loss, the Railsplitters move to 3-2-1 overall and 0-2-1 in conference play.
For their next match the Railsplitters will face Tusculum on Wednesday at home. Kick off is set for 7 pm at LMU Lacrosse Complex.
