Crestview Hills, KY - LMU Men's Soccer starts their season with a 1-0 win on the road against Thomas More. This win improves their series record to 2-0, outscoring the Saints 3-1. 

The two teams battled in the first half as both teams remained scoreless, but there were multiple shot attempts for both teams. Daniel Miklosi made several key saves to keep TMU from taking the lead. In the 35th minute, Guilherme Galvão took a shot that nearly went into the goal, but was saved by the TMU goalkeeper.

The Railsplitters stayed even with the Saints as both teams were scoreless at the half. LMU created a chance to score early in the second half as LMU drew a foul at 30 yards out, and Ronan O'Mahony nearly scoring from the free kick. O'Manony had a chance to take the lead again off of the free kick 25 yards out in the 77th minute.

The game remained scoreless until the 86th minute as Thomas Chao rebounds off of a block from the TMU keeper. LMU was able to  keep the lead to secure the win.

With the win, the Railsplitters improve to 1-0 on the season. 

LMU will be back in action Sunday afternoon playing host to the University of Indianapolis. Kickoff will be at 2 pm at LMU Lacrosse Complex.
