HARROGATE Tenn. - The LMU Men's Tennis team will begin their season this Friday, January 31st with a 2:00 pm match against Union College. Last season, the Railsplitter took down the Bulldogs 4-1. The next day, the Splitters will face two different teams. One at 10:00 am against Johnson University and another match at 4:00 pm against Georgetown College. This will be the first meeting between Johnson University and LMU. The previous matchup between LMU and Georgetown College took place in 2016 with the Railsplitters coming out on top 6-3. To conclude their season opener the men will play February 2nd at 10:00 am against The University of North Georgia. Last season UNG defeated LMU 0-7.

The men are looking good for this season, placing 5th in the SAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Alexandru Giurea made the first team singles for the SAC and Radu Florea made the Second team singles.
