Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse team will open their season at home on Saturday, February 1st as they face the Lees-McRae Bobcats at 2 pm at LMU Lacrosse Complex.
Saturday's match will only be the third time that the two teams will be facing each other, with LMU sweeping the series record 2-0. The whole series has been payed in Harrogate, and the most recent match, which was in February of 2022, resulted in a 17-2 Lincoln Memorial win.
In the 2025 SAC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches' Poll, LMU was voted to finish 7th.
Delaney Duck and
Josie Tinnerello were both named All-SAC First Team. Last season, Duck recorded 30 ground balls on 30 caused turnovers, and was the team's defensive leader. Tinnerello was second on the team in points with 53, first on the team in points with 47, and also posted 6 assists in the 2024 season.
This match will also be Lees-McRae's first match of the season. Lees-McRae is in the Conference Carolinas, and was voted to finish 11th in the 2025 Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll. Players to watch from Lees-McRae, voted by the conference, are Hailey Smith and Genesis Lutsky.
The match is set to start at 2 pm at LMU Lacrosse Complex.
