Harrogate, TN - Three days after falling on the road to 3rd-ranked Newberry, the Lincoln Memorial field hockey team will be back in the shadow of the LMU Lacrosse Complex on Saturday, playing host to the Belmont Abbey Crusaders for its "Blue Out" game. Spectators are encouraged to wear blue in support of Lincoln Memorial field hockey. The Railsplitters enter the contest with an overall record of 4-7, including a 1-4 mark in conference play. The Crusaders have amassed a 5-4 record, posting a 5-2 clip in conference play to this point in the season. Saturday's contest will be the fourth all-time meeting between Lincoln Memorial and Belmont Abbey. The Crusaders have taken the three previous match ups, winning one game in Harrogate, one game in Belmont, NC, and the other at a neutral site at Davidson College in 2023. Last year at in Harrogate, Belmont Abbey took a 3-1 decision. Saturday's game will be the first of two matches played between the teams this season. Following Saturday's game, Lincoln Memorial and Belmont Abbey will play again three days later in Belmont, NC. 

The Railsplitters have already set numerous program records this season and are on the cusp of more. Lincoln Memorial has already set a new program-best for wins in a season and most goals scored in a season, still with six games remaining in the regular season. The Railsplitters are led in scoring by Jolie Plaisier with four goals on the season. She is followed by Jimena Loustalot with three, Olivia Rosini and Kiara Aleksovich with two goals each, and Kelsey Beauchamp, Lainey Hockersmith, and Naomi Spangler with one goal each. Goalkeeper Cayla Wiggins leads the South Atlantic Conference in saves with 73. 

Lincoln Memorial and Belmont Abbey are slated to begin at 12:30 PM at the LMU Lacrosse Complex in Harrogate.
