Harrogate, TN - Lincoln Memorial men's soccer comes back home on Saturday to face the Mars Hill Lions at 7 pm. Saturday's match is also Senior Night, where four seniors will be honored for their contributions to the LMU men's soccer program: Ronan O'Mahony Blondel, Gian-Carlo Kama, Dani Cruz, Botond Skulka, and Joshua Best. 

The weekend match up will be the 22nd all-time contest between the two teams, with the Railsplitters falling in the series 8-12-2. The most recent meeting between the Railsplitters and the Lions was last season on November 9th 2024 in the 2024 SAC Tournament Quarterfinals, where Lincoln Memorial fell to Mars Hill 1-4. The last time that the Lincoln Memorial defeated the Mars Hill at home was on October 3rd, 2023, where LMU was victorious 3-0. 

Lincoln Memorial looking to bounce back at home as they are coming off of a 0-2 loss against non conference opponent Clayton State on October 15th. 

Currently, Kama is leading the team in points with six for team-high three goals, and O'Mahony Blondel is the team leader in assists with four. Kama is also the team-leader in shots and shots on goal with 24 and 10, respectively. Goalkeeper Daniel Benedek Miklosi has 40 saves on the season. 

In the South Atlantic Conference, O'Mahony Blondel is tied for leading in assists per game (0.50) and in total assists (4). Kama is 6th in shot accuracy (0.455) and 5th in total goals (5). Benedek Miklosi tied for 1st in total saves (40). 

Nationally, O'Mahony Blondel is 22nd in assists per game. 

The Lions are coming off of a 3-0 loss against Lenoir-Rhyne on October 15th.

The Railsplitters are entering the weekend contest with a 3-7-1 overall record and an conference record of 3-2-1. In the SAC standings, Lincoln Memorial in 4th place. 

Mars Hill is coming into Saturday with a 3-3-6 overall record and a 1-2-4 conference record. The Lions are tied for 6th place with Tusculum in the SAC standings. 

The Senior Night recognition for the men's soccer program will take place at halftime of the women's match, which kicks off at 4 p.m.

Kickoff is set for 7 pm at LMU Lacrosse Complex. The match will be played on Flo College, and the link to the stream along with live stats can be found below.
