Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial women's volleyball is back at Mary Mars Gym on Saturday at 2 pm, hosting Newberry for Animal Rescue / USA Night. The Railsplitters (8–13, 4–8 SAC) will look to build off Tuesday night's dominant sweep and keep climbing the league standings on their home floor.
LMU enters averaging 11.5 kills per set while hitting .162 as a team, backed by 16.1 digs per set. Kaytlin Johnson continues to headline the attack with 210 kills (3.23/set), while Megan Maier (153 kills) and Finley Sparks (86) add balance to the attack. Setters Carley Raleigh (387 assists, 5.38/set) and Lauren Pickett (327, 4.30/set) steer the offense, and libero Lauren Jacob anchors the back row with 283 digs (5.05/set). At the net, Sarah Robbins (58 total blocks) and Jazmine Starks (35) lead LMU's front-line resistance.
Newberry (8–8, 3–6 SAC) arrives hitting .155 with 11.8 kills per set and 17.1 digs per set. Outside hitter Anna Schneider paces the Wolves with 190 kills (3.39/set), supported by Carole Ann Hussey (126 kills, .227) and Evie Paalman (99). The Wolves defend well on the floor and at the net (1.7 blocks/set), but they've been out-hit on the year (.178 allowed). Notably, Newberry plays at Tusculum on Friday at 7 p.m., making Saturday's tilt a quick turnaround.
Series-wise, LMU has won two straight and holds a 25–14 advantage all-time over Newberry, including a 3–1 home victory last October. First serve Saturday is set for 2:00 p.m. in Harrogate.
