Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial University men's volleyball program and interim head coach Jacob Craig have unveiled the 2026 schedule. The Railsplitters open with a home-heavy January at Mary Mars Gymnasium before a stretch of high-profile neutral-site and West Coast matches that will test the group ahead of IVA postseason play.
LMU enters 2026 following a record-setting 24–1 campaign in 2025 and the program's seventh consecutive Independent Volleyball Association (IVA) championship. The Railsplitters closed last season on a long win streak and continued to defend one of the toughest home courts in the country, setting the bar for another title push this spring.
The 2026 slate features 11 home matches, 9 away contests, and 2 neutral-site dates. All home matches will be played inside Mary Mars Gymnasium.
The season begins with four home matches in eight days: King (Jan. 9), North Greenville (Jan. 10), Emmanuel (Jan. 16), and Erskine (Jan. 17). LMU then heads to Columbus for a two-night series at Ohio State on Jan. 23–24. The Railsplitters return home to host Northern Kentucky (Jan. 30) and Belmont Abbey (Jan. 31).
February opens with a neutral-site weekend in Cambridge, Mass., against BYU (Feb. 6) and Merrimack (Feb. 7). LMU hosts Thomas More (Feb. 14), then embarks on a three-match California swing at CSUN (Feb. 18), UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 20), and Pepperdine (Feb. 21). The month closes Feb. 28 on the road at Thomas More.
Down the stretch, the Railsplitters visit Tusculum (Mar. 3) before returning home to face Charleston (Mar. 20) and Catawba (Mar. 21). A quick road swing follows at King (Mar. 24) and Lees-McRae (Mar. 25), with the Bobcats visiting Harrogate on Apr. 4. The regular season concludes at Mary Mars with Tusculum (Apr. 11) as LMU aims to extend its IVA title streak.
