St. Simons Island, GA  – The Lincoln Memorial University Women's Golf team will return to competition October 6–7 as hosts of the St. Simons Intercollegiate, held at the King and Prince Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Ga. The event will feature an 18-team field and a 54-hole format, beginning with 36 holes on Monday and concluding with the final round on Tuesday.

The Railsplitters enter their home-hosted event looking to build on a fall slate that has included a 4th-place finish at the UIndy Women's Fall Invitational and an 11th-place showing at the South Regional Preview. At the Preview, Joy Apetaki led LMU with a tie for 13th, shooting rounds of 72–72–80 for a total of 224 (+8). Dilyara Bulambayeva closed strong with a final-round 73 to finish tied for 37th at 231 (+15), while Brook Farmer and Sadhbh Bullock tied for 63rd at 238 (+22). Millie Russell and Reese Rexroat rounded out the lineup tied for 74th at 242 (+26).

The field at St. Simons will feature a strong mix of South Atlantic Conference rivals, including Wingate, Carson-Newman, Tusculum, and Lenoir-Rhyne, alongside regional opponents such as West Florida, USC Beaufort, and Lander. As tournament hosts, the Railsplitters will rely on their depth and recent experience to make a statement in one of the key events of their fall schedule.
