St. Simons Island, GA – The Lincoln Memorial University Women's Golf team concluded its home event at the St. Simons Intercollegiate, hosted at the King and Prince Golf Club. The Railsplitters placed 7th overall with a score of (+42), 301–300–305–906.
Taking first place at the Intercollegiate was Wingate University with a (–7) 290–285–282–857. The runner-up was University of West Florida, finishing at (+26) 294–297–299–890. Lander University rounded out the top three with a score of (+30) 306–296–292–894.
Leading the Railsplitters was Dilyara Bulambayeva, who tied for 14th with a score of (+7) 73–71–79–223. Millie Russell finished tied for 24th at (+10) 75–76–75–226, while Joy Aspetaki tied for 38th at (+14) 83–72–75–230. Sadhbh Bullock placed tied for 45th at (+16) 73–81–78–232, and Brook Farmer closed the lineup tied for 69th at (+25) 80–84–77–241. Competing as an individual, Reese Rexroat (IND) tied for 31st at (+13) 81–76–72–229.
The LMU Women's Golf team will return to action October 13–14 at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial in Dahlonega, Ga., hosted at Achasta Golf Club.
