Boca Raton, FL – Lincoln Memorial men's soccer enters the NCAA Tournament in Super Region 2 as the #10 seed, facing SAC opponent #7 seed Anderson University in Boca Raton, FL on Friday, November 21st at 3 pm.
The end-of-week meeting will be the 20th overall contest and the second match up of the season between the Trojans and the Railsplitters, with LMU winning the series 11-7-1. Their last meeting was in the regular season on October 28, 2025, where Lincoln Memorial handed Anderson their only loss of the regular season with a 1-0 shutout. Friday will be the first time the two teams will be competing in Boca Raton, FL and also the first time facing eachother in the NCAA Tournament.
The Railsplitters are coming off of a SAC Championship win on November 16th with a 2-0 shutout over Lenoir-Rhyne. All-Tournament team member and Tournament MVP
Ronan O'Mahony Blondel scored the first goal for LMU in the 81st minute, with
Antonio Talavera tallying the assist. IN the 85th minute,
Gian-Carlo Kama added another goal for Lincoln Memorial with assists coming from
Enrique Martin and O'Mahony Blondel. Martin,
Colin Clark, and
Dani Cruz were also named to the All-Tournament team.
Currently, Kama is the team leader in points with 17 for team-high eight goals and one assist, and O'Mahony Blondel follows with two goals and team-high six assists. Kama also leads the team in shots and shots on goal, with 39 and 19. respectively. Goalkeeper Daniel Benedek Mikliosi has 66 saves so far on the season.
In the South Atlantic Conference, O'Mahony Blondel is leading in assists per game (0.40) and total assists (6). Botonbd Skulka is sixth in assists per game (0.27). Kama is ranked third in the SAC in goals per game (0.44), fifth in shot accuracy (48.7), 7th in shots per game (2.17), and first in total goals (8) and total points (17). Benedek Miklosi is leading the conference in goalie minutes played (1615), shutouts (6), and total saves (66), fourth in save percentage (76.7), and third in saves per game (3.67).
Nationally, Benedek Miklosi is 21st in shutouts.
As a team, Lincoln Memorial fifth in assists per game (1.11), fifth in points per game (3.67), third in save percentage (77.5), second in saves per game (3.83), fifth in shutout percentage (33.3), third in total assists (20), and third in total points (66).
Nationally, LMU is 39th in save percentage.
The Railsplitters are entering Friday's match with a 9-7-2 overall record.
The Bears are coming into Friday with a 11-1-5 overall record, and is coming off of a loss against Lenoir-Rhyne in the SAC Semifinals, where they remained tied 1-1 at the end of double overtime, and ended up dropping the match in penalty kicks 8-7. LMU is Anderson's only loss of the season.
