Men's basketball travels to Catawba for first conference road test of the season

HARROGATE, TN – The Tony Jasick era continues to take shape as the Lincoln Memorial University men's basketball team hits the road for a South Atlantic Conference matchup at Catawba on Saturday, December 6. The trip to Goodman Gymnasium marks another early-season test for the Railsplitters as they seek to build momentum under new leadership.

Jasick, in his first year at the helm, has brought an energized and detail-driven approach to Lincoln Memorial, reshaping the program's identity while maintaining the championship standards the Railsplitters are known for. His emphasis on disciplined defense, efficient spacing, and player development has been evident through the season's opening weeks, with Lincoln Memorial showing steady growth in cohesion and on-ball execution.

As Lincoln Memorial continues its transition under Jasick, the Railsplitters remain anchored by their trademark toughness and competitive edge. Improved rebounding structure, a balanced scoring attack that features five players averaging double figures, and strong guard leadership have helped Lincoln Memorial establish an early foundation that Jasick believes will only strengthen as the season progresses.

Saturday's contest at Catawba provides an opportunity for Lincoln Memorial to measure its progress against a high-energy opponent on the road. Controlling tempo, limiting turnovers, and asserting themselves defensively will be central objectives as the Railsplitters look to secure a key SAC win away from home.
