#7 Lincoln Memorial men's basketball poised for top 25 rematch with #16 Lenoir-Rhyne at home Saturday

Harrogate, TN - After jumping to 7th in the nation earlier this week following a perfect 2-0 week last week with wins over UVA-Wise and Newberry at home, and most recently the Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team will be back at home Saturday seeking revenge on the 16th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne Bears following a last-second 79-77 loss earlier this season in Hickory. Lincoln Memorial currently sits atop the SAC standings with an overall record of 19-3 with a 17-2 mark in conference play. Lenoir-Rhyne is right behind the Railsplitters, resting in second in conference play, with an overall record of 20-4, including a 17-3 mark in conference play.

Lincoln Memorial's offense is led by Wes Enis, who averages 19.9 points-per-game and 4.5 rebounds-per-game. He is the second leading scorer in the conference. He is followed in scoring by Elyjah Freeman with 17.3 points-per-game and 8.9 rebounds-per-game. He is the second-best rebounder in the conference statistically, trailing the conference leader by .4 rebounds per game. Freeman is the highest scoring and rebounding freshman in the conference, coming in at eighth in the conference in scoring and second in rebounding. EJ Smith continues to dictate the pace of the offense, averaging 10 points-per-game.
