Men’s Tennis Welcomes New Challengers this Weekend

HARROGATE Tenn. - The LMU Men's Tennis Team will host Montreat College, North Greenville University, King University, and Davis & Elkins College. 

On Friday, February 21st, at 3:00 PM the Railsplitters will play against Montreat College. This will be their first matchup against each other. 

The next day, Saturday, February 22nd, at 12:30 PM, the team will play North Greenville University. The last time the Splitters played the Trailblazers was in 2014 and they would have lost 4-5. 

On Sunday, February 23rd, at 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, the men's team will play King University and Davis & Elkins College. The last time LMU played against King University was in 2020 and they would have come out on top with an overall score of 6-1. Additionally, the Splitters played Davis & Elkins in 2024 and would have fully swept the team 7-0. 

Last weekend the Railsplitters received their first loss to the University of Charleston with an overall score of 1-6. The men's team would have bounced back from their loss and would have beaten Belmont Abbey College 4-1.

The men's tennis team will look to continue their new win streak this weekend. All of the matches will be played at home at the Indoor Tennis Facility.
