Huntsville, AL - The Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse team will travel to Huntsville, AL Wednesday to face the University of Alabama Huntsvillle Chargers at 10 am CT / 11 am ET.
This will be the third time that the two teams have crossed paths and faced each other. Their most recent match up was last season in February of 2024, which resulted in a 12-17 Charger win. The last time that LMU and UAH battled in Huntsville was in February of 2017, where the Railsplitters fell 8-17.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a program record breaking 27-2 win against Lees-McRae. The match broke the records of: highest scoring match in program history and biggest winning margin in program history.
Josie Tinnerello tallied 4 goals and 5 assists,
Amber Kirkpatrick recorded 4 goals and 3 assists, and
McKenzie Cates registered 4 goals.
Jaiden Jaynes and
Jaedyn Ryba would both earn 3 goals, with Jaynes tallying 3 assists and Ryba recording 2.
Ryan Smith would post 2 goals and 1 assist, and
Madison Proud,
Jalee Davis, and
Breanna Booth would all record 2 goals each.
Emma Limestahl would earn 1 goal and 1 assist. Ryba, Cates, Proud, Booth, and
Delaney Duck would be tied as game-leaders in ground balls with 2 each. Ryba and Duck would lead in caused turnovers with 3 each.
Keegan Gillman would earn herself 2 saves on the afternoon.
The Chargers are coming off of a 4-18 loss against Embry-Riddle.
Lincoln Memorial's record is 1-0 and has not started conference play. UAH has a record of 0-1 and they are in the Gulf South Conference, and they have also not started conference play.
