Box Score HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Railsplitters Men's Tennis Team took in the University of the Cumberlands this Thursday afternoon. The Railsplitters were able to win 6-1, making this their fifth win streak. 
 
To start off the doubles, Alexandru Giurea and Hugo Ruiz Espejo won their match definitively at No. 1 with a 6-2 win. No. 2, Harper Mills and Sergio Sebastian Aranzeta Boneta, and No.3, Radu Florea and Ethan Hirons, would have a tough battle, but would pull out the win for the Railsplitters 7-5. 
 
Singles were kicked off with a win from Harper Mills at number one singles in a three-set thriller. Mills took his opponent 6-0 3-6 6-3. At line two was Alexandru Giurea who broke his opponent and won 6-3 6-3. Following Giurea's footsteps was Radu Florea who destroyed his opponent at line three singles with a score of 6-3 6-1. 
 
Kai Miyatake would have a close match of 7-6 (7-5) 7-5. Ethan Hirons had a battle ahead of him and would fall to the Patriots with a score of 6-7 (4-7) 4-6. To finish off the day Franco Battaglino would win his match 6-2 4-6 (10-4). 
 
The LMU Men's Tennis Team will be back at the Indoor Tennis Facility Saturday, February 8th to play at Young Harris College at 5:00 PM. The results of all the matches are posted below.
