HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Lincoln Memorial Men's Tennis team finished up their match against No. 26 ranked Wingate University. The Railsplitters fell to the Bulldogs 2-4. 

The Railsplitters started off the doubles strong by taking both No. 2 doubles and No. 3 doubles, to secure the doubles point. At No. 2 doubles was Harper Mills and Sergio Boneta Aranzeta who won 6-4. At No. 3 doubles was Radu Florea and Ethan Hirons who destroyed their opponents 6-2. 

Sergio Boneta Aranzeta finished his singles first at No. 5 singles. Boneta Aranzeta lost to the Bulldogs 2-6, 2-6. At No. 4 singles, Radu Florea would have gotten another point for the Railsplitters, winning 6-2, 6-1. Franco Battaglino went close with his opponent, but finished with a score of 3-6, 4-6. 

Finishing next was No. 6 singles Ethan Hirons, who went neck-and-neck with his opponent. Hirons came up short with a score of 6-7 (7), 4-6. In the final match of the day, Harper Mills would play a third set thriller at No. 1 singles. Mills finished with a score of 1-6, 6-4, 4-6. 

The Railsplitters will be back in action, Wednesday, March 19th against Emory and Henry at Emory, VA.
