Women's Lacrosse Hosts Anderson Trojans Wednesday

Harrogate, TN – The Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse team will seek their 3rd conference win of the season as they face the Trojans of Anderson Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm.

This will be the fourth time that the two teams face each other, with Anderson slightly winning the series 2-1. The most recent math up between the two teams was in Anderson, SC, where the Trojans defeated LMU 15-17. Their only game in Harrogate, however, the Railsplitters took down Anderson 20-13.

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 20-3 win against Coker.  Amber Kirkpatrick would be the team-leader in goals and assists with 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points. Brookelyn Walls would lead in ground balls with 5, with  Jaedyn Ryba being the team-leader in caused turnovers with 5. Josie Tinnerello would lead in draw controls with 4. All 3 keepers would get some time in goal, with Elle Miller and Jovie Favati earning 2 saves each.

In the South Atlantic Conference, Kirkpatrick is leading the conference in assists and assists per game with 22 assists for 2.44 assists per game. She is also 2nd in points with 40 and 2nd in points per game with 4.44. Tinnerello is 5th in assists with 11, 6th in assists per game with 1.22, 1st in goals with 35, 1st in points with 46, 1st in points per game with 5.11, 2nd in shots per game with 7.67, and 2nd in shots on goal per game with 5.89. Jalee Davis is 5th in the conference in draw controls per game with 3, and Delaney Duck is 6th in ground balls per game  with 2.86 and 2nd in caused turnovers per game with 2.43.

Nationally, Kirkpatrick is 4th in the nation in assists and 11th in assists per game. Tinnerello is 5th nationally in goals, and 7th in points.

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is 2nd in the conference in assists per game with 6.67, 2nd (12th nationally) in caused turnovers per game with 12.33, 6th in clearing percentage with 0.806, 3rd in draw control percentage with 0.516, 3rd in draw controls per game with 14.11, 2nd in free position percentage with 0.476, 3rd (33rd nationally) in points per game with 19.67, 5th in scoring defense with 11.33, 4th in scoring offense with 13, 1st (12th nationally) in shot percentage with .500, and 5th in shots per game with 26.

Anderson is coming off of a 12-14 win against Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Lincoln Memorial currently has an overall record of 5-4 and a 2-1 conference record, and they are sitting in 6th in the SAC standings. Anderson has a 2-4 overall record and  1-0 conference record, and they are in 4th place in the conference. 

The match is set to begin at 4 pm at LMU Lacrosse Complex.
