CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The Lincoln Memorial Men's Tennis team finished up their last non conference match of the season, playing No. 27 ranked Lee University. The Railsplitters fell 1-6.

The Railsplitters started off the doubles strong, gaining the doubles point. At No. 1 doubles, Alexandru Giurea and Hugo Ruiz Espejo defeated their opponents 6-2. Harper Mills and Sergio Boneta Aranzeta checked in at No. 2 doubles. The pairing would have lost to the Flames 2-6. Securing the doubles point for the Railsplitters was Radu Florea and Ethan Hirons at No. 3 doubles. The pairing escaped with the win 7–6 (4). 

Alexandru Giurea played No. 1 singles and took his opponent to a third set. Giurea would have barely fallen 7-6 (5), 4-6, (5-10). Checking in at No. 2 singles was Harper Mills who lost 1-6, 3-6. No. 3 singles, Radu Florea, fought until the very end but resulted in a score of 3-6, 4-6. 

Kai Miyatake was at No. 5 singles and he went 1-6, 4-6 with his opponent. Getting a very close first set of 5-7 was Ethan Hirons at No. 5 singles. Hirons finished his second set 1-6, finishing overall 5-7, 1-6. Rounding out the singles lineup was Sergio Boneta Aranzeta at No. 6 singles. This Railsplitter finished 0-6, 4-6. 

The Railsplitters will have another chance to redeem themselves on Saturday, March 29th at home playing against Newberry College.
