Women's Lacrosse Hosts Last Non-Conference Match Of The Season Sunday

Harrogate, TN – The Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse team will play their last non-conference match of the season Sunday as they face the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) at 11 am.

This will be the first time in series history that the two teams will face each other.

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 7-15 loss against #22 Limestone. Josie Tinnerello and Amber Kirkpatrick led in points with 4 each, as Tinnerello tallied 3 goals and 1 assist and Kirkpatrick posted 2 goals and 2 assists. Keegan Gillman was the team-leader in ground balls with 5. Goalies Elle Miller and Gillman both spent some time in goal, as Miller had 2 saves and Gillman had 7. Miller was the leader in caused turnovers with 1, and Tinnerello led the draw controls with 7.

Currently, Tinnerello is the team-leader in points with 38, which accounts for team-high 18 goals and 10 assists. Kirkpatrick is behind her with 29, including 11 goals and team-high 18 assists. Delaney Duck leads in both ground balls and caused turnovers with 20 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers, while Jalee Davis has a team-leading 21 draw controls.

In the South Atlantic Conference, Kirkpatrick is leading the conference with assists and assists per game, with 18 assists for 2.57 assists per game. She is also 2nd in points and 4th in points per game, with 29 points for 4.14 points per game. Tinnerello is 4th in the SAC in assists and 6th in assists per game with 10 assists and 1.43 assists per game. She is also 17th in free position goals per game with 0.57, 8th in free-position percentage with 57.1%, 1st in goals with 28, 1st in goals per game with 4, 1st in points with 38, 1st in points per game with 4.14, 3rd in shots per game with 7.29, and 3rd in shots on goal per game with 5.43. Duck is 2nd in caused turnovers per game with 2.43, and 8th in ground balls per game with 2.86. Davis is 8th in draw controls per game with 3. 

Nationally, Kirkpatrick is 4th in assists and 12th in points. Tinnerello is 2nd in goals and 3rd in points. 

As a team,, Lincoln Memorial is 3rd in assists per game with 6.86, 2nd (30th nationally) in caused turnovers per game with 11.57, 4th in draw control percentage and draw controls per game with 50.5 and 13.71, 4th in points per game with 18.86, 4th (23rd nationally) in shot percentage with 48.3%, and 5th in win percentage with 57.1%. 

SCAD is coming off of a 17-10 win against Grove City College. 

LMU's has a overall record of 4-3 and a 1-1 conference record, and they are standing in 6th in th SAC. The Bee's record is 5-0, and they have not started conference play yet.
