Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse team hosts the UVA Wise Cavaliers on Saturday, April 12th at 1 pm for their last regular season match at home. Saturday's match is also senior day for LMU women's lacrosse, where 6 seniors will be honored for their contributions to the LMU women's lacrosse program:  Breanna Booth, Jaedyn Ryba, Delaney Duck, Samantha Billingsley, Savannah Telemeco, and Elle Miller. 

This will be the 10th time that the two teams will be facing each other, with UVA Wise winning the series 8-1. The most recent match up between the Cavaliers and the Railsplitters was last season in April of 2024, where LMU fell short 13-14. 

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 16-6 loss against Wingate. Josie Tinnerello led in points with 3 points for 3 goals.  Samantha Billingsley was team-leader in ground balls with 4 and in caused turnovers with 3. Jalee Davis led the team in draw controls with 4. Elle Miller was in goal and recorded 11 saves.

Currently, Tinnerello is leading the team in points with 66 for team-high 54 goals and 12 assists, followed by Amber Kirkpatrick with 55 points for 28 goals and team-high 27 assists. Billingsley is the team-leader in ground balls with 28 and draw controls with 43, and Delaney Duck leads the team in caused turnovers with 20. 

In the SAC, Tinnerello is 13th in assists with 12, 13th in free position goals per game with 0.57, 1st in goals with 54, 1st in goals per game with 3.86, 1st in points with 4.71, 1st in points per game with 3.93, 1st in shots per game with 7.43, and 2nd in shots on goal per game with 5.50. Kirkpatrick is 2nd in the conference in assists with 27, 4th in assists per game with 1.93, 14th in goals with 28, 4th in points with 55, and 7th in points per game with 3.93. Duck is 6th in the SAC in caused turnovers per game with 1.82 and 12th in ground balls per game with 2.36. Billingsley is 8th in draw controls per game with 3.07, and Davis is 10th in draw controls per game with 3.00.

Nationally, Kirkpatrick is 20th in assists and 32nd in assists per game. Tinnerello is 9th in the nation in goals, 21st in goals per game, 20th in points, 31st in points per game, and 32nd in shots per game. 

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is 3rd in the conference in assists per game with 5.93, 3rd (27th nationally) in caused turnovers per game with 10.86, 4th in draw control percentage with 0.513, 4th in draw controls per game with 13.86, 3rd in free position percentage with 0.492, 5th in shot percentage with 0.466, and 5th in win percentage with 0.500. 

UVA Wise is coming off of a 20-3 win against Mars Hill. 

Lincoln Memorial currently has an overall record of 7-7 and a 4-4 conference record, and they are sitting in 6th in the SAC standings. UVA Wise has a 6-8  overall record and a conference record of 3-5, and they are currently sitting in 9th place in the SAC standings.
