GAFFNEY, SC - The Lincoln Memorial Men's Tennis played against Limestone University on April 5th. The Railsplitters had a tough battle, and fell 2-4. 

At No. 3 doubles was Radu Florea and Ethan Hirons who lost to their opponents 3-6. Getting a doubles match was No. 2 doubles Harper Mills and Sergio Boneta Aranzeta who won 6-4. Coming down to No. 1 doubles to secure the doubles was Alexandru Giurea and Hugo Ruiz Espejo. The pairing would have fallen short losing 3-6. 

Coming off the court first was No. 4 singles Harper Mills. Mills fought and came close with his opponent but fell 4-6, 3-6. Kai Miyatake, No. 3 singles, played a great match, toying with his opponent the entire time. Miyatake won 6-3, 6-2. Radu Florea,  No. 1 singles, was out there grinding and fighting for every point but resulted in a score of 3-6, 1-6. At No. 2 singles Alexandru Giurea played a steady match and took down his opponent 6-4, 6-2. Finishing out the day was Franco Battaglino at No. 5 singles. Battaglino battled until the very end and resulted in a score of 3-6, 2-6. 

No. 6 singles Ethan Hirons would have his match go unfinished. 

The men look to bounce back from their loss on Tuesday, April 8th where they will play UVA-Wise. This match will be held in Wise, VA.
