Johnson City, TN - The Lincoln Memorial University cheer team recently attended the 2025 Universal Cheerleaders Association camp in Johnson City, Tennessee on the campus of East Tennessee State University. This is the second straight year the Lady Railsplitters have attended the camp and went looking to build off their strong performance from the UCA competition in January.
The Lady Railsplitters started off the camp on day one with a first place superior ribbon in their sideline performance. LMU would then use that momentum throughout the weekend. They would complete the weekend camp with a first place in their Division II Open All-Girl Game Day timeout division and winning overall first place in the sideline performance.
"I'm super excited for this season with this group of girls!" said coach Rhileigh Alred. "They are very hardworking! I am looking forward to nationals in January, we are off to a great start! Let's get back to work this fall!"
The Lady Railsplitters will now turn their attention to the UCA College Nationals January 16th through January 18th at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
