Women's Golf Set for South Regional Preview

Cleveland, Tenn – The Lincoln Memorial University women's golf team is back in action September 15–16 at the 2025 South Regional Preview, hosted at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tennessee.

The Railsplitters are coming off a strong showing at the UIndy Women's Fall Invitational, where they placed fourth overall at (+29), turning in rounds of 300–304–289–893. Leading LMU was sophomore Millie Russell, who broke the program record with a final-round 67 on her way to a T-5th place finish at 215 (-1).

This week's field at the South Regional Preview features another competitive lineup, providing an important early-season test for the Railsplitters. The tournament also offers continued opportunities for LMU's young players, as freshmen Brook Farmer and Reese Rexroat gained valuable experience in their collegiate debuts last week.

"It was exciting to see Millie set the school record, and just as exciting to see the development of our two sophomores," said head coach Brad Robinson. "Getting Brook and Reese their first tournament experience was important, and I'm looking forward to seeing what this group can achieve against another strong field this week."
