Cleveland, Tenn – The Lincoln Memorial University Women's Golf team concluded their third tournament of the fall at the South Regional Preview hosted at Cleveland Country Club. The Railsplitters placed 11th overall with a score of (+62), 302–311–313–926.
Taking first place at the Preview was Wingate University with an (+13) 295–292–290–877. The runner-up was Lynn University, finishing at (+28) 299–288–305–892. Lander University rounded out the top three with a score of (+37) 302–293–306–901.
Leading the Railsplitters was Joy Aspetaki, who tied for 13th place with a score of (+8) 72–72–80–224. Dilyara Bulambayeva finished tied for 37th place at (+15) 81–77–73–231, highlighted by a strong final-round 73.
Brook Farmer and Sadhbh Bullock (IND) each tied for 63rd, both carding (+22) 238. Farmer posted rounds of 77–81–80, while Bullock finished with 76–81–81. Millie Russell and Reese Rexroat closed out the tournament tied for 74th, each recording (+26) 242. Russell shot 78–81–83, and Rexroat posted 75–87–80.
The LMU Women's Golf team will return to action October 6–7 at the St. Simons Intercollegiate in St. Simons Island, Ga., hosted at The King and Prince Golf Club.
