Salisbury, NC - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team will travel to Salisbury, NC on Saturday, September 20th to the #13 Catawba College Catawba Indians at 1 pm.
The weekend meeting will be the 21st overall meeting between the two teams, with the Railsplitters dominating the series 15-4-1. LMU recorded the lone tie of the series in their most recent match up last season on September 21, 2024, where the result was a 2-2 tie. The last time Lincoln Memorial defeated Catawba in Salisbury was on October 7th, 2023, when LMU secured a 1-0 victory.
The Railsplitters are coming off of a split week as they defeated Lenoir-Rhyne 2-0 on September 11th and fell to UAH 0-1 on September 14th. In their SAC win against L-R,

The Catawba Indians are coming off two wins: a 5-1 win against Mount Olive oin September 10th and a 2-1 win against Carson-Newman on September 13th. In the most recent United Soccer Coached Poll, that was released on September 16th, Catawba was ranked #13.
The Railsplitters are going into the weekend with an overall record of 1-3 and a 1-0 conference record, while Catawba has a 3-1 overall record and a 1-0 conference record. LMU and Catawba both are tied for first in the South Atlantic Conference standings with a 1-0 SAC record alongside Anderson and Wingate.
