The Railsplitters (7–6, 3–1 SAC) enter the weekend coming off a sweep of Emory & Henry on Tuesday, marking their third win in their last four matches. LMU has leaned on a balanced offensive attack led by Kaytlin Johnson, who paces the team with 169 kills (3.45 per set) on a .222 hitting percentage. Megan Maier (109 kills, 2.48/set) and Laney Inman (98 kills, .238 hitting percentage) provide steady production, while setter duo Carley Raleigh (275 assists) and Lauren Pickett (215 assists) have steered the offense to 12.2 kills per set. Defensively, libero Lauren Jacob has anchored the back row with 214 digs (4.65/set), supported at the net by Sarah Robbins and Jazmine Starks, who have combined for 59 total blocks.

Coker (6–5, 2–1 SAC) enters the match after a straight-sets loss at nationally ranked Wingate, snapping a two-match conference win streak that included victories over Newberry and Emory & Henry. The Cobras average 10.9 kills per set and are led offensively by Cayla Gilmore (105 kills, 2.56/set) and Addie Bittner (95 kills, 2.21/set). McKay Kasper has been a force in the middle with 62 kills and 33 blocks, while libero Meadow Morse paces the defense with 168 digs (3.91/set).

Saturday marks the 19th all-time meeting between LMU and Coker, with the Railsplitters holding a 15–3 edge in the series. LMU swept the Cobras in their most recent matchup last November in Harrogate, while Coker's last win came at home in 2023.
