Men's Soccer Travels To Tusculum Wednesday

Greeneville, TN - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team aims to stay undefeated in South Atlantic Conference play as they travel to Greeneville, TN to face the Tusculum Pioneers on Wednesday at 7:30 pm. 

Wednesday's match up will be the 22nd all-time contest between the two teams, with LMU on top of the series 12-4-5. Their most recent meeting was last season on October 2, 2024, and Lincoln Memorial came out on top 2-1. The last contest in Greeneville was on September 27, 2023, where the Railsplitters also came out victorious 1-0. 

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 1-1 draw against Coker. Antonio Talavera scored off of a header in the 64th minute, assisted by Botund Skulka. 

Currently, Gian-Carlo Kama is leading the team in points with six for team-high three goals, and Ronan O'Mahony Blondel is the team leader in assists with four. Goalkeeper and SAC Defensive Player of the Week Daniel Benedek Miklosi has 21 saves on the season.

Nationally, O'Mahony Blondel is 26th in assists per game and 16th in total assists. 

The Pioneers are coming off of a 3-1 loss against Anderson on September 27th. 

The Railsplitters are entering the midweek contest with a 2-4-1 overall record and an conference record of 2-0-1. In the SAC standings, Lincoln Memorial is sitting in first place. 

Tusculum is coming into Wednesday with a 1-5 overall record and a 0-3 conference record. The Pioneers are in 10th place in the SAC standings.
