Chattanooga, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's soccer team is looking to build a win streak as they go on the road to Chattanooga, TN on Sunday, September 7th for a neutral site match up against the Georgia College Bobcats at 3 pm.
Sunday's meeting will be the first ever match up in Chattanooga, but the fifth overall competition between the two teams, with LMU winning the series 2-1-1. Georgia College's only win comes from their first contest in 2008 where the Bobcats won 2-1. Their most recent match up between the Railsplitters and the Bobcats was last season in October of 2024, and LMU defeated Georgia College 2-1.
While Lincoln Memorial was picked to finish fourth in the South Atlantic Conference Preseason Poll, Georgia College was selected to finish fifth in the Peach Belt Conference Preseason Poll.

Emma Cooke was identified as a player to watch.
The Railsplitters are coming off a thrilling 3-2 win against Lees-McRae in their season opener on September 4th, where freshman
Paige Branam scored all three goals for LMU: the first being a header in the 18th minute, the second off of a corner kick in the 56th minute, and the third being a game-winning goal in the 84th minute. Winger
Viktoria Filsner tallied the assists on both the first goal and the second goal, while the third was unassisted.
The Bobcats are also coming off their first match of the season as they had a 0-1 loss against Belmont Abbey on September 4th.
