Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial women's basketball seeks to get their ninth conference win of the season against the UVA Wise Cavaliers on Wednesday, January 21st at 5:30 pm in Tex Turner Arena.
The midweek meeting will be the 25th overall meeting between the two teams, with the Lady Railsplitters winning the series 16-8. The in the most recent face off between the two teams, which was last season in February of 2025 at UVA Wise, LMU defeated the Cavaliers 55-53. The last time that Lincoln Memorial was victorious over Wise in Harrogate was January of 2024, and Lincoln Memorial came out on top 88-78.
Lincoln Memorial is coming off a big 72-58 win over #18 (previously #10) Coker on January 17th.
Alexa Smiddy led in scoring with 29, while
Kamil Collier led on the boards with nine.
Currently, Collier is leading the team in points, averaging 16.8 points per game, while Smiddy and
Lexi Patty are behind her with 13.9 and 12.5 points per game. Collier is also the team-leader on the boards with 10.9 rebounds per game.

Patty is sixth in the SAC in blocks per game (0.93), ninth in total blocks (13), and eighth in defensive rebounds per game (4.7).
Asia Barr is fourth in the conference in total steals (36), and fourth in steals per game (2.4). Anderson is eighth in three pointers made per game (1.67).
Nationally, Collier is sixth in double-doubles, 11th in rebounds per game, and 13th in defensive rebounds per game.

Lincoln Memorial is entering Wednesday with a 13-2 overall record, including a 8-2 mark in conference play. LMU is tied for first place in the SAC standings with Coker, Carson-Newman, and Lenoir-Rhyne. LMU was most recently ranked #23 in the WBCA Coaches' Poll.
UVA Wise is going into the midweek with an 10-6 overall record and conference record of 7-3. The Cavaliers are in fifth place in the SAC standings.
