Men's basketball seeking statement win at 15th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne

Lincoln Memorial men's basketball heads back on the road Friday, Jan. 23, traveling to Hickory, North Carolina for a key South Atlantic Conference match up against 15th-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne. Tipoff was originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, but the game was moved up one day due to forecast inclement weather in the region.

The Railsplitters enter the contest riding a three-game winning streak, dating back to a Jan. 14 road victory at Carson-Newman. Lincoln Memorial has built momentum during that stretch behind balanced scoring, steady defense, and strong rebounding as conference play intensifies.

Nate Mims has been a consistent presence throughout the season, averaging 10.6 points per game while shooting 45.6 percent from the field. He has added 4.4 rebounds per contest along with 25 steals and 10 blocks, providing production on both ends of the floor.

Walter Campbell has been one of the most efficient scorers in the lineup, connecting on 65.3 percent of his field goal attempts while averaging 10.3 points and a team-high 5.6 rebounds per game. His physical play has also resulted in 95 total rebounds and 30 assists.
