Women's Basketball Makes The Trip To Emory & Henry Wednesday

Emory, VA - Lincoln Memorial women's basketball looks to get back in the win column as they make the trip up the road to the Emory & Henry Wasps Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm. 

The midweek contest will be the 9th overall meeting between the Lady Railsplitters and the Wasps, with the LMU winning the series 6-2. The in the most recent face off between the two teams, which was earlier this season in December of 2025, Lincoln Memorial beat E&H 85-61. The last time that LMU was victorious over the Wasps in Emory was February of 2024, and Lincoln Memorial came victorious 76-53.

Lincoln Memorial is coming off a 63-71 overtime loss against Lenoir-Rhyne. Kamil Collier led in both scoring and rebounding with 20 points and 19 rebounds. 

Currently, Collier is leading the team in points with 17.6 points per game, followed by Alexa Smiddy and Lexi Patty with 13.3 and 12.8 points per game, respectively. Collier also leads on the boards with 11.2 rebounds per game. 

In the South Atlantic Conference, Collier is leading in double-doubles (11), third in field goal percentage (49.1%), second in field goals made (113), seventh in free throw percentage (78.4%), sixth in total points (299), sixth in points per game (17.6), leading in total rebounds (191), leading in rebounds per game (11.2), leading in defensive rebounds per game (7.6), and second in offensive rebounds per game (3.6). Smiddy is fourth in the conference in assist/turnover ratio (1.58), fourth in total assists (60), third in assists per game (3.5),  seventh in three pointers made (29), and seventh in three pointers made per game (1.71). Patty is seventh in the SAC in blocks per game (0.88), and seventh in defensive rebounds per game (4.6). Asia Barr is seventh in the conference in total steals (38), and third in steals per game (2.24).

Nationally, Collier is seventh in double-doubles, 8th in rebounds per game, and 12th in defensive rebounds per game. 

As a team, Lincoln Memorial is second in the SAC in assist/turnover ratio (0.96), third in field goal percentage defense (37.7%), leading in scoring defense (58.1), leading in scoring margin (14.8), third in scoring offense (72.9),  fourth in three point percentage (31.5%), leading in three point percentage defense (25.7%), second in three pointers made per game (8.2), and second in winning percentage (82.4%).

Nationally, the team is 13th in three point attempts per game, and 16th in three pointers made per game. 

Emory & Henry is coming off of a 66-88 loss against Anderson on January 23rd. 

Leaders for the Wasps include Breanna Yarber (#10) who is averaging 15.4 points per game and Lyndie Ramsey (#1), who averages 7.1 rebounds per game. 

Lincoln Memorial is entering Wednesday with a 14-3 overall record, including a 9-3 mark in conference play. LMU is in fourth place in the SAC standings. LMU was most recently receiving votes in the WBCA Coaches' Poll. 

Emory & Henry is going into the midweek with an 4-14 overall record and conference record of 2-10. The Wasps are tied for tenth place in the SAC standings with Tusculum.
