Harrogate, TN – The No. 20 Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball team returns home this weekend for a pair of matches against Northern Kentucky inside Mary Mars Gymnasium. Due to the threat of inclement weather in the Carolinas, Belmont Abbey will not travel to Harrogate as originally scheduled, and the weekend slate has been adjusted to a two-match set with the Norse.

Lincoln Memorial will host Northern Kentucky on Friday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m., followed by a second match on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. Both contests will be played in Harrogate. A match with Belmont Abbey will be rescheduled for a date to be announced in February.

LMU enters the weekend at 3–2 and is back in the national rankings at No. 20, after being ranked throughout the season before briefly falling out last week. Through five matches, the Railsplitters have hit .302 as a team with 12.9 kills per set and 11.3 assists per set, while also averaging 10.4 digs per set. Offensively, Johan Negron leads the attack with 51 kills, while Axel van Baars has been one of LMU's most efficient options, hitting .427 with 41 kills. Roman Mahlerwein has paced the offense with 123 assists, and the Railsplitters have received steady defensive production from Zachary Zian (35 digs), along with 27 digs apiece from Negron and Mahlerwein.

Northern Kentucky comes to Harrogate at 1–2 and has been efficient offensively, hitting .308 while averaging 13.1 kills per set. The Norse also bring pressure from the service line with 14 aces in three matches. Friday's opener will mark the first meeting between Lincoln Memorial and Northern Kentucky, with Saturday's rematch giving both teams a quick turnaround in what should be a competitive weekend series.
